Daily Bible Verse

I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no
pleasure. My heart took delight in all my work, and this was the
reward for all my labor. Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had
done and what I had toiled to achieve, everything was meaningless, a
chasing after the wind; nothing was gained under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 2:10-11 (New International Version)

Daily Bible Verse

But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute
you. ... If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are
not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your
brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do
that?

Matthew 5:44,46-47 (New International Version)

Prayer Week

Jas 5:16 Confess faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much.

The need to pray need not be over-emphasized because we all should know that that's where we draw our strength, power and ability from. The bible reminds us also of the need to bear each other's burdens. 1John4v7-8 talks of the need to love one another just as God loved us.

So this week lets express our love for each other by getting at least seven names from this group to pray for. Just check on the group's member list and get seven names of people that you are going to intercede for. lf possible you can have seven names per-day until Sunday. Personal I'm going to pray for at least 25 people daily. we are going to get testimonies from this week's prayers because prayer changes lives.

So if you have issues that need attention prayer-wise please write on the group wall or inbox me. Have a blessed prayerful week.

Daily Bible Verse

Trading ground

Psa 137v1-3 There we sat down by the rivers of Babylon; also, we wept when we remembered Zion. We hung our lyres on the willows in its midst.
For there our captors demanded a song from us; and our plunderers demanded gladness, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

River of Babylon denoted a place of mourning, its a place where everything is laden with sorrow and pain. So you will find that anything operating in this river does not flow be it be marriage, job, business family etc. This place is a river of sorrow and pain, misery and mourning. The bible says that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Pe1v3) and when God gives you something the devil always has alternatives. Remember that the work of the kingdom of darkness is in direct opposite of everything that God instituted.

In marriage a man is blessed with a wife and the devil patiently waits with an option so when the marriage is exposed to trials the devil provides a mistress who will be so nice to the man or a boyfriend who will be so nice to the wife. Many who have however married their mistresses and boyfriends later discovered that the journey is still the same, some had to endure pain and sorrow till death. From the river of Babylon you can get anything but it always has sorrow and pain attached to it. Some trade their body parts for money but they will live to regret. There is nothing good from Babylon. Every gift that has sorrow with it is from the river of Babylon, when God blesses you with a gift He adds no sorrow to it. Pro 10:22 The blessing of Jehovah itself makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

God has a plan for you remember each and everyone of us is fearfully and wonderfully made. God has too much love for us way too much love. Sorrow and pain is not our portion in this land of the living. The main reason we continue in sorrow and pain is that we use our own strength to tackle life's challenges yet God has given us all the appropriate weaponry to use in warfare. He has given us of His own spirit the Holy Spirit and it is the Holy Spirit anointing which breaks the yoke of bondage, it breaks the yoke of pain and sorrow, it destroys the babylonian spirit which ruled us when we where not yet born again.

John 7v37-39, Acts 1v8, Acts2v1-4
We are all partakers of the same Holy Spirit which God has given as a witness and has given without measure. The Holy Spirit gives us the liberty to be adopted as God's children and with it we cry Abba Father. On our we are limitation based on the five senses that's why we need the enablement by the Holy Spirit. Rom 8 v26-27 The Holy Spirit helps in prayer, He intercedes for us according to God's will. Acts10v38 anointing comes with the Holy Spirit but we need to fire it up. Jude v20 Praying in the Holy Ghost until faith comes and fear disappears. Pray in tongues has power because your prayer is directed by the spirit of God. Faith activates miracles.

Then David declares in Psa 16:11 You will make Me know the way of life; in Your presence is fullness of joys. At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 46v4 River of God whose channels makes a city glad. This joy comes when we have received the Holy Spirit power. Joy refreshes your soul and Joy is infectious it even pulls down walls of depression. If the devil can't depress you then he can't oppress you. This is why we need the Holy Spirit which is the manifest presence of God in our lives. There are a lot of advantages we receive with the presence of the Holy Spirit. God has provided a trading ground through the death of Jesus where we can trade our shame, our weaknesses, our sicknesses, our limitations for the joy of the Lord. Rom 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Stay Blessed.

You can become what you want to become

-------------------

In school we are being taught to be good employees so that we will work for others. We develop our interlectual capability but we will not be taught financial capability.Thats why you see a banker advising people on how to invest but after work he is looking for R5 to go back home.Lets teach our children whilst they are young on how they should make money and be able to spent it wisely, because for us school is not improving our lives we are left with no choice but to borrow thing we will cover with our salary and it even gets worse. When you die you will leave nothing for children. Why cant we be employers? Food for thought

For how long are we going to moarn because of our bosses and low salaries. As long as we are working we will remain like that its time we use our minds to improve our lives.

It's fear that keeps most people working at a job. The fear of not paying their bills. The fear of being fired. The fear of not having enough money. The fear of starting over. That's the price of studying to learn a profession or trade, and then working for money. Most people become a slave to money... and then get angry at their boss

If you don't first handle fear and desire, and you get rich, you'll only be a high-paid slave.

If your pattern is to spend everything you get, most likely an increase in cash will just result in an increase in spending.

Daily Bible Verse

But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you
look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deuteronomy 4:29 (New International Version)

What keeps me going.

Often i have been found wanting in terms of my faith. I almost fell on several ocasions because things weren't going acording to plan. I have heartbroken many times. My heart have been shredded and when such situations come, you always want to make a decision, to quit or suicide. Its very easy for these thoughts to be thrown your way. It has been very hard for over the past few years but have kept my head high cause the bible says all things work for good to those that love the Lord and who called according to His purpose. I do believe God have purpose for my life even if things go wrong or there is no evidents of what i am supose to do. For God says my ways are not His ways, His thoughts are not my thoughts. God is omniscient people. He knows everything about me, where i am going, how i am supoz to get there. Its a shame that everyday we pretend to know where we are going yet we are deceiving ourselves. The problems lies to the fact that we want things which we can see with our own eyes. God works with faith and not with what we see. God is spirit and if we are to understand where we are going we need to be spiritual as wel. Nomatter how many times i fall, He lifts me again. He makes me stand tall. Every single thing that hapens to me its not a coincidence but my God is in control. Even when i wanted to sin God would do something that i would not fall. He protects me even from my own choices. He knows all the ways i wil take. Though i wil not take His mercy for granded. He loves. He cares for me. Many times i have felt as if i am cursed cause everything i try to do fails. Every company i have worked for went under. I have planned, strategezed, researchd bt stil things dont move. Bt i know that one day, one day. Yes i will seat with kings and queens cause i serve an owesome God. I am not cursed but am blessd. I wil continue to press on until i get hold of that which God have promised. Dont give up cause God loves you and He sees what you ar going through. He says in job He never withdraws His eyes upon the righteous. Yes you because He died for your soul. Press on, dont give up.

Let go and let God

Greetings. I trust I find you well and glowing in the glory of our Lord who loved us so much and had to give His only son to die in our stead. There has been a song upon my heart this week which basically declares that everything is all about Jesus. Yes everything is all about God. Remember He is the Alpha and Omega, everything begins and ends with Him and the bible says in Romans 4v12 that we all shall give account to God concerning ourselves. That in itself shows that we not in total control of everything. The life we have belongs to God, the splendor of the earth, riches and everything you might think of belongs to and is under the control of a great and mighty God.

When we become born again there is a wonderful transition which takes place. The moment we accept Christ, He dwells inside of us. We let Him be the master of our lives; Jesus Christ should then take the steering wheel over your life. Your life should then be subjected to the will of God. All this comes with understanding the meaning of "Christ living in me". Jesus being the center of our lives makes us become a new creation in Christ. You might have had your own desires, objectives, missions etc but when you come to Christ you surrender it all to Him.

This is what is supposed to happen to every believer that is to reach a point of total surrender to God. We have to conform to the standard of heaven; heaven cannot bow down to our standards. Most of us are in a state of Partial surrender. We have certain areas that we want God to control and certain areas we don't. This is why it is critical to understand that when you are born again the old has passed away and you cannot come to God with the same mindset and attitude that you were having when you were in the world. We live in misery of worry because we all know that on our own we cannot make it. We need God more but yet we still hold on to things and issues and not surrendering them to Him.

Christ at the point of suffering still said, "Not my will but yours be done", Christ understood that everything was about the Father's will and that's what we need to understand as well. Life is not about us and what we want. Everything is all about God the creator of heaven and earth. We need to reach a point of totally surrendering to His will; conforming our lives to His expectations. We live in misery of worry over happenings of life that we have no control over forgetting who ultimately controls everything. We have this assurance that God is for us and Him loving us so much as to lay down the life of His only begotten for us is a pure indication that with Him we stand. No eye has seen nor ear heard what God has prepared for them that love Him. So just imagine how much more can He do for us if we align our lives to His will. So desire today to let go of yourself and let God. Whatever area of your life that is not progressing just let it go and let God be God over your life. So lets let go and let God

Stay Blessed

- It's not our circumstances that steal our joy; it's our attitude
during our circumstances.

Be rooted in the Lord

"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:1-3

The secret of success is by avoiding being around wicked people. I know you are asking me how you can avoid people if they are your family members or friends. What the bible is saying is for the sake of family or friends you cannot entertain sin or approve sin .Whenever you see that you are not able to fit in a certain group of people you rather excuse yourself for the sake of your soul.

The bible is encouraging a deeper relationship with God. That is when you will you will be like a tree planted by the rivers. It will not be surprising to see such a tree in October with green leaves; you will obviously know that it's because of its positioning. So your positioning does matter very much. Be rooted in God. When God blesses a man there is no sorrow that is added to that. You will bear fruit in season, infact in God every season is your season because seasons are designed by Him so why can't you bear fruit all round when you are in Him. When you bear fruit you will not stop. When you buy a car it's not for you to be involved in an accident and then go back to footron again. When you get a job it's not your portion to be demoted, retrenched but to go up the ladder. May that happen to you in Jesus name!

"The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it." Proverbs 10:22

Jesus says in John 15:4-5 "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Apart from Jesus there is nothing we can do. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. If you are in Jesus you will not be afraid of any obstacle. For God did not give us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind.
